Tweeters:

I also saw a scrub jay in very south West Seattle (almost Burien) at the
intersection of 35th Avenue SW and 106th, today at 12:30 pm. It was out on
the wires parallel to 35th on the northwest side of the intersection, flew
north to the top of the power pole, then west down into a back yard where,
judging by the many birds around, someone is feeding them.

I and others saw at least two scrub jays at this exact intersection about a
year ago, as Tom Benedict mentioned, but I don't remember the exact date and
my check of Tweeters archives produced too many records of scrub jays to go
through one by one (and I don't know how to narrow the search). My
recollection, though, is that it was very nearly the same time of year. But
I don't believe it stayed around. Tom suggested this is the same one, which
seems likely, or at least very possible (although one of last year's was
quite tattered, unlike this one)

So, do scrub jays migrate?
