I'm having it pretty good here.

I have a Rufous sided Hummer patrolling my porch beating up on any other
hummer that comes near. I have a broom sitting right next to the feeder
and he sits on it and chases any other hummers away. He is one vicious
dude.

The nice thing is he sits about 4 feet from the end of my camera. Even
so, he still doesn't fill the frame with 420mm.

I can take a stroll down the street and see nesting Blue Herons. There
are at least 2 small ones poking there heads out once in a while. The
female (I assume) sits on a branch and is quite easy to see from the
road with binoculars or unaided it the light is right.

There is at least one other nesting pair in the area also. I haven't
investigated the second one yet.

So I am going from one extreme to the other. Tiny to Huge. Seems
Towhees, Juncos and Jays have headed for higher elevations as soon as
the warm weather hit.

I am having a very exciting time.
