Saturday early AM, 5/29, I visited this area to see if White Face Ibis
was still present. No luck. The marsh here allowed close study of
Black Necked Stilts and Yellow Headed Blackbird, along with Cinnamon and
Blue Wing Teal, but no Ibis.

Many of the telephone poles in the area have Western Kingbird nests in
place or being built. Those poles with transformer boxes seem to be
well liked. The nest on the pole at Frenchman Hill and Dodson appears
to be well established. One of the adults takes on any Kingbird that
passes near.

I am very interested in the elusive Ibis and welcome any reports for
current sighting or later in the season.

Good Birding
