We also saw the 5 Mute Swans at the south end of Lateral A at Toppenish NWR
and wondered where they all came from. Are they from the wild? We are
interested in their history if anyone knows.

We also saw the American Bittern, Wilson's Phalaropes and heard one Virginia
Rail and several Sora at different locations (the over look at the entrance
and on Lateral C).

We saw a mature Bald Eagle eating a Coot on Pumbhouse Road.

My husband also saw one Black Swift fly over the Wenas campground early in
the morning. NO it wasn't a Vaux's!!!
