My son and I needed to see the Lewis' Woodpeckers at Ft. Simcoe, and they
were there in force, hawking insects in the sky like nighthawks. Also at
Ft Simcoe we saw 3 ash-throated flycatchers and a gray flycatacher.

On Lateral C Road just north of Toppenish Creek there was a bobolink on the
barbed wire beside the road. I haven't heard mention on Tweeters of
bobolinks on the Yakima reservation. Are they common there?

Both these observations were on Sunday the 30th.
