I think it is time again for another silly posting. I would encourage you,
my fellow tweeters, to share with me your favorite latin name for a bird
species. Not the latin name of your favorite species but your favorite latin
names regardless of what they represent.
Though I truly love the Turdus Migratorius (American Robin), my favorite has
to be:
Podilympus podiceps (pied-billed grebe).
