This morning we had a problem with one impatient twitcher driving up the
clearly signed private road at 4505 Chuckanut. Also some late-arriving
people were stopping in the middle of Chuckanut Drive...a move sure to piss
off the local folks who tolerate our eccentricities. The bird is being seen
regularly by patient birders at various locations along Chuckanut. So please
respect private property and be careful where you pull off the highway, so
that those of us that enjoy winter birding on the flats continue to be
welcome (or at least tolerated).
