One of the 200 Canada Geese at Marymoor today looked like the pictures of the
aleutian race leucopareia. Is this race likely in Washington, and are there
other races (not pictured in field guides) which would look similar.

The bird was noticably much smaller than the other Canadas - it looked to be
about Brant-size. It was not as small as the minimas I've seen previously.
The bill was small like a minimas. The breast color was darker than the larger
geese. The bird was notably short -necked, and had a broad white neck ring
which did NOT continue around the back.

Any ideas?
