Hi Tweets

I checked out the Lakes subdivision for birds this morning. Last week the
water was covered with Cacklers and other small varieties of Canada geese.
Today.

NOT MUCH of anything......

Several "usual suspect" geese. Including one with a seriously mangled wing
and its close companions hanging out near an apartment patio.

GREAT BLUE HERON
COOTS
HOODED MERGANSERS The males were performing cute little "dances" -
stretches and bobs of their necks.
COMMON MERGANSERS
AMERICAN WIGEONS
MALLARDS
PIED BILLED GREBE and another small-ish grebe
RING BILLED GULL

A dead CACKLER CANADA GOOSE
And a very sickly DUSKY CANADA GOOSE floating like a decoy.
