Gaylord,

To video hummingbirds in Arizona, I would strongly recommend the Paton's
yard in Patagonia. This elderly couple maintains a bank of hummingbird
feeders in their back yard, and they invite one and all to come and enjoy.
No need to knock, just walk on in and sit down. The last time I was there
they had set up lawn chairs and awnings for their guests! You can count on a
half dozen species at killer views, and rarities often show up there. The
location is described in the Lane guide to Arizona, which I would also
strongly recommend for general birding info. If you are considering a guide,
I would recommend Stuart Healy at http://www.aztrogon.com/ . He is based out
of Sierra Vista and covers all of Southeast Arizona. You may not want to pay
his hourly rate for your video work, but if you want to see lots of SE
Arizona birds, Stuart is your guy.
