Subject: CORRECTION: WHOOPER SWANS STILL AT MAMIT LAKE, 11:30 A.M. NOV 9

Tweeters,

Oops-- I spoke too soon. Perhaps I should wait till 11 P.M. to
send out
an E-mail saying "the swans are gone", but I was trying to be helpful
to those who might be planning a dash to Mamit Lake tomorrow.
So maybe the swans are still there, but at least, be prepared to
put in a little effort to find them-- they are not "sitting ducks"!

Folks,

I just had a report from Peter Mayfield who journeyed over to Mamit
Lake today (Nov 9) with a group from Vernon. They saw all three
Whooper Swans at around 11:30 am.
They were supposedly on the west side near the south end of the lake.
