This morning while looking for the Slaty-backed Gull, Mike Donahue and I
saw a first winter Glaucous Gull across the street form the Gog-Li-Hi-Te
Wetlands. It was roosting on a rooftop with Thayer's, Glaucous-winged,
Western (1), and Western X Glaucous-winged hybrids. Other gulls in the
area included several Herring and one California, but no sign of the
Slaty-backed. Alan
