Hi Tweets,

On this dreary afternoon I spied a FLICKER, pecking away at the ground like
a robin! This Flicker had a huge black "bib" with a tan line surrounding
it, and it had the Red shafted "moustache", but when it flew off, it's wings
had ORANGE tones. Not red, not yellow, but a strong ORANGE. Even before
the bird flew off, I spied orange peeking out as the bird was pecking at the
ground.

Did I spy a hybrid Red-Orange Shafted Flicker?

JUNCOS have again become the "default" driveway bird...
