It was WET, with a moderate but steady rain all morning. The wind strengthened
as the morning went on, although it was never very windy. Did I mention it was
wet?
I still managed 30 species, but nothing really notable.
Only 5 species of duck -- MALLARD, COMMON MERGANSER, BUFFLEHEAD, GADWALL, and
HOODED MERGANSER.
Did manage quite a good sparrow list, though I had to pish them all out:
Song Sparrow
Fox Sparrow
Spotted Towhee
Golden-crowned Sparrow
Lincoln's Sparrow
Surprisingly, no White-crowned Sparrows.
After Marymoor, I went directly to REI to get something to waterproof my
Gore-Tex jacket...
