Birders,
Today, Nov 12th we relocated the male RUSTY BLACKBIRD
on Dodd-Iowa Beef Road which is a couple miles north of
the Wallula pulp mill, Walla Walla County WA.
DeLorme p 40; C1. Mike & MerryLynn Denny found it (last weekend?)
The bird is in a large (1,000?) flock of mostly Brewers Blackbirds.
It was east of the main feed lots, near the Hunter checkin signs.
Maybe two miles from hwy 12. Sorry I forgot to check the odometer.
I do know the bird is 5.0 miles from the pulp plant.

On Nov 11th, we relocated the male GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE
in Mission, (east of Pendleton), Umatilla CO Oregon.
It was near the tribal police station. It has been there for a couple
weeks.
It was found by Aaron Skirvan.

I say "relocated" to make sure we don't get credit for finding birds.
That often happens & is worse than a few of you thinking I moved the bird.

Otherwise there were about six Brown-headed Cowbirds with the Rusty BB
flock.
Hey it is Hot here!! Over 80 degrees!!! We drove home with the air
conditioner on
at 11:00 am.

Good Birding,
Craig
