After a couple of tries of relocating the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher at
Point-No-Point I could not find it. I found a large flock of kinglets,
chickadees, bushtits, and a Brown Creeper at the top of the stairs going up
the hill south of the lighthouse. Winter Wrens were common and also had a
Bewick's and Marsh Wren. The ad. Northern Shrike kept the small birds
hidden around the marshy area directly south of the lighthouse. Perhaps the
Gnatcatcher is still around. Hopefully other birders will give it a try as
there is a lot of places for this little guy to hide.
