We had a good morning at Nisqully NWR on Sunday. Raptors were the
highpoint:
Northern Harrier
Red-tailed Hawk
Rough-legged Hawk
White-tailed (Black-shouldered) Kite
Cooper's Hawk
Merlin
Peregrine Falcon
Great Horned Owl
This was the first time we'd seen a White-tailed Kite at Nisqually in
nearly 20 years of (admittedly intermittent) birding there.
