Saturday I am leading my nearly annual field trip to Newport for Portland
Audubon. All are invited to attend.

Meeting place: Hatfield Marine Science Center
I will bail if ice or snow is predicted as possibly in the Coast Range on
Friday night/early Saturday morning, and I will post an update Friday
afternoon just in case I cancel. Last year's highlights included Oldsquaw,
Sabine's Gull, Black-legged Kittiwake, Short-tailed Shearwater, and Sooty
Shearwater (if the wind is right, the birds can be spectacular--if not, they
can be excellent).
