Hi Tweets,
I relocated the GNATCATCHER in its usual place at Point No Point behind the
lighthouse in the brambles at about 2:30 today. I first located it by its
call note, then it appeared right at the front of the Black berry brambles.
Real nice bird. Also had a CLARK'S GREBE real close to shore off the point
by the lighthouse. I could not pick out any ANCIENT MURRELETS out of the
masses of Common Murres. There was still at least 1 HEERMANN'S GULL off the
point. I also made a trip to Montlake Fill at about 11:30 today with hopes
of finding the CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, but again, no luck. Did witness a great
display of ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS, at least 3 birds near the Horticulture
building.
Well thats about it.
Good birding.
