Was up on the Samish Flats today (11/18) and found the Eurasian Kestrel. Made three loops around East 90, Going To Market, Sunset, Chuckanut, Colony, D'Arcy and Bayview - Edison Roads. On the third loop found the Kestrel just after turning onto Sunset from Going To Market Road. It was on the first Power - Telephone Pole on Sunset (its quite a distance from Going To Market to the first farmhouse and then the pole. Watched for 15 to 20 minutes until it flew off to the South hunting the ditch on the West side of the field and then the field beyond. Saw it land in the field along Thomas Road. Drove Thomas but could not relocate the Kestrel.
