Had a pretty nice week around the campus, for a
rookie.

My usual territory in the medicinal herb garden was
not very productive, except for squirrels, but Wed.
just at sunset an accipter, very likely Cooper's Hawk,
flew over. Nothing else that day other than
Black-capped Chickadees. Something unfamiliar but
intriguing heard but not seem.

Thursday took a late lunch and snuck over to the Fill
for 30 minutes. Cool but dry, and fun with many
warblers flycatching, robins bathing and coots
bobbing.

The problem with expert advice is that it so often conflicts with one's plans.
