Subject: SWAN LOCATIONS IN E WASH (was: WHOOPER SWANS GONE)

Dear Tweeters and Inland Birders,

In my last message, I suggested that Atkins Lake (Douglas Co.)
might be a good spot to look for the Whooper Swans that seem to have
left Mamit Lake, B.C. The attached response from Randy Hill in
Othello suggests that Moses Lake and lakes on the Columbia NWR would
also be worth checking out.
Randy, I hope you don't mind me copying your response to the
masses, but I'll bet there are a few birders out there who would love
to be the first to find Whooper Swans in Washington!

Sincerely,

Wayne C. Weber
Kamloops, B.C.
