Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded the Dungeness area during the late morning to
early afterrnoon, then Point-No-Point from 2:45pm-4pm, in search of the
B.G.GNATCATCHER, which we were unable to locate. The main highlights were a
single gray-morph GYRFALCON, at Three Crabs, where it was seen for a few
minutes, along with Tahoma Audubon Society field trip, led by Gene Reveles,
and 2 female CINNAMON TEAL along Kitchen-Dick Rd., in the ponds, just south
of the Dungeness Rec.Area. 4 WOOD DUCKS were also present, among the normal
assortment of waterfowl. Other notables at Three Crabs included:

6 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS
1 PEREGRINE FALCON
1 MERLIN
3 EURASIAN WIGEON
1 NORTHERN SHRIKE

7 TRUMPETER SWANS were on Crocker Lake, viewed from SR 104, south of
Discovery Bay, and 12 OLDSQUAW were at W.Sequim Bay(Blyn) at high tide,
among the scoter flocks. At Point-No-Point, the main highlight was a adult
winter LITTLE GULL seen with approxiametly 800+ Boneaparte's Gulls at
approaching low tide, but as mentioned before NO gnatcatcher, but the bird
is probably still around, but hitting the feeding schedule would be to the
birder's advantage, in finding this bird. 12 HEERMANN'S GULLS were also
present on shore.
