Hi tweets.

Today, me and Jim Pruske birded the refuge this morning tallying up 35
species in just a couple of hours. It was a great day for raptors.
Here's some of the hi-lites.
1 Adult MERLIN
several COOPERS HAWKS
1 WHITE TAILED KITE
1 N. SHRIKE
1 ROUGH LEGGED HAWK
N. HARRIER (Male and Female)
Lots of REDTAIL HAWKS (1 Dark Morph)
1 GREAT HORNED OWL perched in a tree 10' up - 50' off the trail catching
some rays.
