Hello Tweeters,

I live in the heart of Crimson-fronted Parakeet country in Maple Leaf
and we follow these birds through the winter. In fact I heard them this
morning as I was getting ready for work. We often see them flying about
the neighborhood. It seems that they disappear in the summer (off to
nest?) and reappear in a flock when autumn rolls around. The most we
have seen at one time is 9 birds. We see or hear them at least 3 times
a week during the fall and winter.
