Tweets,
Today, while birding the upper end of the Kitsap Peninsula
at Salsbury Point County Park, 14 Swans came towards us, low over the water.
They dropped down and landed out in the middle of Hood Canal giving us great
looks. With the sun behind us and such a beautiful day, the Swans really
made it! However, even through our scope could not tell if they were Tundra
or Trumpeters. After about 30 minutes they lifted off so smoothly, over the
bridge and headed for Quilcene Bay no doubt.
Good birding, Doug Watkins

P.S. There were only 3 juv. in this group that we could tell.
