Hi Tweeters, I am posting the Nanaimo Sunday bird walk for information
of activities in Nanaimo B.C. Regards neil

The Sunday Bird Walk, went to Buttertubs Marsh in Nanaimo B.C. The
weather was cloudy,light shower to start and cool at 5 degrees celsius.
In total 33 species were seen and heard onthe walk.

Pied-billed grebe
Great blue heron
Canada goose
Mallard Ring-necked duck
American wigeon
Common merganser
Hooded merganser
Green-winged teal
American coot
Glaucous-winged gull
Rock dove
Bald eagle
Merlin
Belted kingfisher
Common raven
Northwestern crow
Chestnut-backed chickadee
Bewick wren
Winter wren
Ruby-crowned kinglet
American robin
European starling
Red-winged blackbird
Golden-crowned sparrow Fox sparrow
