Just recently on Vancouver Island at Goldstream Park just outside
Victoria we have had a albino gull almost pure white with just a hint of
buff on a few feathers. I remember quite recently that in Washington
State you had a white gull, i was wondering did anybody photograph this
bird or any other albino gulls over the years i would really appreciate
if you could email a copy to me. I believe that our bird is either a
Glaucous-winged Gull or Herring Gull. you don't realise how hard it is
to tell what it is, the structure of the bird gets lost in all the
white, although the bill is long and dark and the legs are pale pink and
the eye is dark.
