I'm a beginning birder so I don't post much to the group, I just
listen. I regularly
drive Slater Road on my way to Lummi Island and I often see large flocks
of small
birds. I have been wondering what they are, so thank you for letting me
know they
may be pine siskins! Also on Sunday afternoon about 12:15, I saw a
large flock of
trumpeter swans in a field off Slater Rd, first time I've seen them this
year.
