Just had a nice view of a Hutton's Vireo working one of the spruce trees
here on campus at Clark. First time I can remember finding this species
here. Things do seem to be moving around and acting more like winter--in
the same tree with the Vireo, for instance, there was a small group of
Bushtits who were far more intent on gleaning bugs from the daily hatch than
with my presence as they literally just moved around my head.
