Hi all,

Has anyone seen any gyrfalcons in the Samish/Skagit Flats
in the last couple of weeks? I have been up there five times
(two 5 hour days and three 3 hour days) in the last four weeks,
and have yet to find one. In that time, I've seen countless red-tails,
harriers, rough-legs, peregrines, bald eagles, and short-eared
owls, as well as a few kestrels and one accipiter, but no gyrs
(or prairie falcons or merlins, for that matter).

I know that one or two gyrs have been seen in that area in the
last month or so, so I'm assuming that I have just been unlucky
thus far. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
