I went out to Tokeland on Saturday morning and was able to find the
Hudsonian Godwit out at the marina. Also there were at least 17 Willets
which were very compliant sitting right by the dock going out from the
store. There seem to be more Pelicans on the coast this year than I can
ever remeber seeing before out there. They are just everywhere. I wasn't
able to find the egrets that had been found near Westport. Anyone who
wishes to see this Godwit, it is very easy to find and when in flight, is
very easy to pick out of the flock from the Marbled Godwits.
