Hi,

Barred Owls are quite active in that forest, and I see
them regularly when I go birding in that part of the
park...On the name thing...

The whole place was known as Shoreview park until a
few years ago when the city of Shoreline decided to
split it into two, with Boeing Creek as the
division...One is now called Shoreview, and is on the
southern side of Boeing Creek...The other is called
Boeing Creek Park and is on the north side of Boeing
Creek.

I won't get into to why the city split it, except I
will say that it does have to do with the ballfield
issue and it is all nonesense for lack of a better
non-explitive word.

So Chris, what brought you up to this neck of the
woods?
