Hi all:

Saw my first two dark-eyed juncos at the feeders this morning. I haven't
been putting seed out (to discourage house sparrows and cowbirds) but the
cheap dog kibble I put out for the raccoons (to keep them from trashing all
my feeders) seems to attract the juncos. Anyway, I'm glad to see them
again. The white-crowned sparrows are still here in force and a
rufous-sided towhee showed up this morning after none being around for the
past month, at least.
