Hello Tweeters,

I have sad news to pass along. Tom Rogers passed away on September 23, at
the age of 85. Tom was the long time east side compiler of Audubon Field
Notes and American birds. He was an early activist for the preservation of
Natual Areas in the state, namely the Dishman Hills Natural Area in
Spokane. He was also the first reciepent of the Washington Ornithological
Society's Lifetime Acheivement award.
