My, what a package of sightings! I will forward this note to the "keeper of the
records" to see if the hummer gets the latest-ever Rufous reward for the
checklist area. It will be close. The herons were likely a gang of juvies. They
tend to flock up along the major rivers in late summer. Not likely you will see
more than eight together, though.
