...........................The Mountain Ash in front of the mobile home
is loaded with red berries. And.....a smorgasbord of birds have come to
dine on the fruit---Finches, Robins, Chickadees mostly, with an
occasional Steller's Jay and Scrub Jay. I stand on the front porch and
enjoy the show!!!!! And it's *free*---can't beat it!!!!!!!!!!!
............................I was standing by the street yesterday while
I was looking at my lawn....when I was hit on the head by a double
unshelled peanut!!!! Some bird dropped it as it passed overhead(or maybe
rven a squirrel on an overhanging fir tree branch). I wonder whose back
yard patio, or whose snack dish this tasty delicacy was snitched
from!!!! Anyway.....one new knows what to expect when one stands in his
yard!!!!!
