Yesterday observed a food fight between a Red Tail and a Peregrine.
The Red Tail was outraged, but the Peregrine was leisurely about his
meal. About 30 feet in the field outside my back door. Georgous mature
male? (I cannot ever tell unless they are sitting together).
Also it seems the black birds have driven off the starlings. Hords in
the trees surrounding the pasture. Is this a Fall occurance or my
imagination?
