I seem to remember seeing Surf Scoters on Lake Washington around Marsh and
Foster Islands, in the Arboretum (and just across Union Bay from the Montlake
Fill). I'm not much of a record keeper, so I don't remember the details
exactly,
but I seem to remember seeing another Scoter species - I don't remember if
they were Black or White-Winged.
