Hello Tweeters,
Today at high tide i counted 76 GREATER YELLOWLEGS and one LESSER
YELLOWLEGS on Madrona Bch.Drive of Mud Bay Rd.This birds was sitting on the
island close to the road. This is the second time i had high count on
YELLOWLEGS there ,the other time was on October 11th 1998
I start going to the Chehalis Wildlife Area, but there are to many Hunters
now, all what i saw where few Coots way in the back. Ducks are smart there
leave when Huntig starts. The same was in Dungeness yesterday, we try to
find the Short -eared Owls but with 14 hunters around there is ni chance.
Kennedy Creek was verry productive today on an outgoing tide birds there
sighted where:
16 GREATER YELLOWLEGS .235 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER,45 DUNLIN,15 WESTERN
SANDPIPERS
30 BONEPARTE GULLS.
