I was playing hookey from my usuual chores and ran off to GreenLake on late
Sunday(17th). On the West side of the lake, just before (to the North of )
the cattails area where the red wing blackbirds are, in the blackberry vines
and the pink morning glories was a brownish bird smaller than the red wings
and larger than the black capped chickadees. At first I thought "Thrush"
because it was very heavily streaked on its' chest, with a pale spot under
the throat(?couldn't really tell). It also had clay colored "eyebrows", or
at least light colored( the sun was setting behind me and can't be sure of
the true color). It also had a relatively smaller bill . It seemed too small
for a thrush.Any ideas???
