Greetings,

This (Monday)morning, driving by the playfields on the east side of Green
Lake I noticed a group of 10 Greater White-fronted Geese (Branta albifrons)
mixed in with the loosely associated groups of Canada Geese (Branta
canadensis).

This comes on the heels of a discussion I had with someone down at the lake,
where I told him I regularly see single Greater White-fronted Geese at the
lake this time of year, but never flocks. While ten may not be a big flock,
it definitely is the largest gathering I've seen at the park these past 15
years.

Never say never....
