What - there were other birds besides the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher at Marymoor?
You bet.

I was joined by Mike West, Joyce Meyers, and Hugh Jennings this morning at 7:00
in a thick valley fog. The fog did not lift until we were over at the Rowing
Club around 10:00 a.m. Birding in the fog was pretty non-existant, but we had
some birds towards the end, and the Rowing Club was good. After the Rowing
Club, I rewalked the nature trail loop by myself, and that's when I saw the
gnatcatcher.

Common Merganser 1 at weir
Common Snipe 1 at weir, 2 at Rowing Club
American Pipit 3 on grass soccer fields with Killdeer
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Common Yellowthroat 1 at Rowing Club
Yellow-rumped Wblr Many
Townsend's Warbler 2 with Gnatcatcher
Purple Finch 2 with Gnatcatcher

We have seen swans fly overhead at Marymoor before, but this is the first time
one has been "in" the park, and this is the first time we have been able to ID
to species.

All told, 46 species, with two additions to the Marymoor list.
