Subject: Rare Bird Alert: Eurasian Dotterel seen in Grays Harbor County,

In regard to the high tide situation. I stayed with the bird until about
11:00 AM seeing what would happen when the tide flushed it and the
killdeer. The Dotterel and the killdeer flew over the spit and landed in
the logs area next to the end of the Snowy Plover restricted area on
Damon. The other point of interest was that while it was reported to be
with Goldens yesterday, it wasn't today. There were two groups of goldens
seen that I'm aware of; 14 further out the game range spit. I believe
these were counted out to be 9 fulva and 5 dominica. Later there were 11
goldens seen at the damon pond (different from the 14).
