Hello Tweeters,
I played hocky today and it was well worth while to see this little round
doll like bird again.I this got my photos back and was so surprised how
good there looked despite dick fog moved in. The reason i say Doll like he
is so round and lttle next to the Back-bellied Plovers and real bright in
colour. I was there real early 8.15 AM. all the Killdeer was there but the
Dotterel was missing. The Bird was sighted almost at the same spot where Tom
Aversa found it on Wednesday in also in the general area where he was
sighted Thursday morning by many. The number of birders increasd ,we had a
long line of bidres today and all saw the bird. But like i sayed the fog
moved in and no one could see the birds anymore. I trouble making it back
the tide start comming in and the water was knee deep, what due i care
after you seeing such good bird. After every birder left i took a walk on
to the game range the Ocean side there i found 4 Lapland Longspur and 6
American -golden Plovers way out where there is verry little vegetation and
lo'ts of driftwood the birds was all hunkerd down i did not see them to
there start walking ahead of me.To all the birders on the westcoast you
have to come to see this smal pretty bird is hard to describe in words how
beautiful he is. I will be there tomorrow once more hope the bird is still
around and i will bring my photos. Thanks to all the birder what give me the
OK to take this photos. And Greg you looking good in this photos.See you all
tomorrow!!!!!
