Greets Tweets --
I was sitting at the desk next to the second floor window, balancing my
mother's checkbook, and a Northern Flicker landed on the empty birdfeeder,
three feet from where I sat! I didn't know they frequented seed feeders
(especially empty ones). Naturally I refilled it straightaway hoping he
would come back. I'll probably grow old waiting.
