I was able to find the bird at about noon today. It was about 100 yards
east of where the boardwalk starts. There is a small overgrown trail that
I happened to walk back in, as I was standing there the bird quickly
passed through.
It was with BC CHICKADEES, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS and 3-4 YELLOW-RUMPED
WARBLERS. When I left at 2:00 it had not been positively relocated, though
it might have been seen in a large flock out near the water. The bird did
not call and was actually not all that high, maybe about 15 feet up. I'm
curious to know if other people have heard the bird call or has it
remained silent?
