At 4:40 p.m. this afternoon I spotted a a male COMMON GRACKLE foraging on
a strip of landscaping lawn at the AM-PM convenience store located at 1st
Avenue and Gum Street-Chemical Drive(SR 397) in east Kennewick.
Using my Bronco for a blind I was able to observe it for approximately 30
seconds at a range of less than 15 feet.
After that it flew to the top of the weather shelter/roof over the gas
pumps. When I returned to this location 10 minutes later I co8uldn't
relocate the bird.
