I this got back from Dennis Paulson the expert in Shorebirds, and he saw
all my verry good photos.
And he intentified the bird as an ADULT in winter Plumage.My photos dont
look at all in plumage as the bird in his book.i heared only birders call
it an Juvenile in winter plumage, maybe i din't hear all comment's about
the plumage. It pays of to take photos on birds that rare as the
DOTTEREL.Most all sightings on the coast been Juveniles. If any of you dont
agree you can contact Dennis Paulson about the identificatian about
theplumage and age.
