hello tweets.

i just returned from giving my presentation in san diego, and
learned that there is a eurasian dot (???) at ocean shores.
YEOW! so i am carless in seattle, but i want to see the dot,
and ian paulson, my cranky "bird booker" pal, who is equally
carless, also wants to go. is anyone going to ocean shores
this saturday morning? if so, could i tag along with you? and
perhaps you might also have room for ian?

on the other hand, if i can get enough seattle people interested
in going, i would be willing to rent a car and pile everyone in
for a quickie run to ocean shores, in exchange for everyone
splitting the costs of car rental and gas. i won't be reserving
the car until friday, because i'd rather tag along with someone
else. however, if i am doing the renting and driving, i want to
be sure that the dot will be waiting for us, and i also need a
head count so i can figure out how big the car should be (maybe
i should rent an RV, instead???)
